were you wondering where i disappeared to? i spent the last 2 months doing this. let me know your thoughts! i am now working on advertising. whew. praying for the Lord to guide everything with that biz.
anyway. i'm hopefully back on the blogging bandwagon for good now.
hubzy's mom and grandmom came in town yesterday and we spent a great day in mineola and tyler. i took a few picks of our day to share with you lovely folk.
went to ETBC for lunch... this is absolutely my favorite burger place. if you ever some to mineola... i'll meet ya for a burger and sweet potato fries.
then we went to a few antique shops. isn't this retro fabric so cute! it was a valence and i so wanted it for my kitchen. i regret not buying it.
i also wanted these salt and pepper shakers... the price was something ridiculous like 15 dollars. i needed it to be like 5 dollars and the i woulda bought 'em.
i am really not sure why.... but i love the blue plate. again.... not really sure why....
i could totally make these. how cute would they be on a wall shelf in my guest room?! oh wait... you probably haven't seen it. trust me - this would go well.
check out the drawers in this old trunk.
how cool is this?! it is really a trunk... not just a decor piece from hobby lobby!
bless his heart. no, hubzy, you should not purchase that hat...
this is totally cheesy. sink strainers that have charms/pulls on them. tell me why i actually wanted one? but don't tell anyone else that i did.
went to popturri house for din din. they have the BEST strawberry poppyseed dressing EVER.
this restaurant is so unique... it is surrounded by a ship on 3 sides.
i call this hairstyle the dinosaur. it reminds me of the ridges that go down their backs. i'm excited spring/summer is coming so i can bring the dino back.
i love candles. that is all.
#typical
hubz insisted on taking a glamour shot of me in this hideous old lady multi-colored jacket.
side note: i live on campgrounds and just found out that when people come to stay the night with us... they have to sign a release form. for real. thanks for waiving liability family and friends!
another side note: if you get car sick easily, it is not smart to eat a hot fudge sundae and play words with friends on your iphone while riding in the back seat.
also... read the lincoln lawyer. then we can talk about it together. and... who do we think is going to win the bachelor?
okay i'm finally done (imagine what it is like to get off the phone with me!)
