- i'm actually watching buffy the vampire slayer. the whole series. HUBZY wanted to. he's already seen it! weirddddd
- dessert tonight (and tomorrow) is cream cheese swirl brownies. recipe adapted from hershey's and coming soon. seriously moist and delish.
- jimmy needham = NEW LOVE. yes, i know i'm behind the times, everyone already loves him. but he came to play for a retreat here this weekend, and i adore his music. i blame 89.3 KSBJ for my previous hatred of all christian music. it is 2010. stop playing ffh and amy grant.
- i need a scent for my home.i walk in and it smells blah. (or like dogs sometimes...sick) i want to have a scent in my home, so can anyone recommend to me a good plug in/candle/spray that actually creates a scent that hangs around for a while?
- i'm loving on lightroom plug ins and presets. love, love.
- mopped the floors in our house for the (gasp!) first time ever.
- i want skinny jeans. there. i said it.
a few quick photos:
(not jimmy needham, but man, this church seriously decked out the auditorium for their retreat!)
so.... how are you feeling about the trial logo?
a few quick verses/quotes i'm inspired by lately:
- "The critical question for our generation—and for every generation—
is this: If you could have heaven, with no sickness, and with all the
friends you ever had on earth, and all the food you ever liked, and
all the leisure activities you ever enjoyed, and all the natural beauties
you ever saw, all the physical pleasures you ever tasted, and no
human conflict or any natural disasters, could you be satisfied with
heaven, if Christ were not there?" John Piper - I mean DANG. in all honesty, that is a hard question!!! Lord, make my desire for you greater. - "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? -Isaiah 43:18-19
a few quick videos i've cry-laughed at this week:

(and i can't see the other b/c i'm in another country- boo.)
and i love you and swear i'll be back in email action as soon as i have internet for more than a quick check every night.
Scenty warmers are awesome. You just need one warmer and then you can change out the scent as much as you want!
And my recent splurge for fall was the Yankee candle in Autumn Wreath. Yummy!
this cracked me up.
1) get a bath and body works wallflower--they are awesome. not scentport, wallflower. AND they have deals at least 3 or 4 times a year where you can get two plug-ins for $5!! lots of good scents and they last about a month each. Also, the WoodWick diffusers are good--I have a few mini ones and they smell reeeally fragrant, almost too much for the bathroom.
