healthy train update

so... i may or may not be participating in bobbi's healthy train. :)

i wanted to address my ambiguity about weight loss/ being healthy on the blog. every once and a while i post a great blog about how i am really doing it this time! i am really going to be healthy, diet, exercise, and lose weight for good! 


and then you never hear another word from me about it until 3 months later when i state that i'm really doing it this time! ha.

well, i wanted to update you that even though i made these the other week:

mmmmmm. fudgy brownies with SPRINKLES!




i have been pretty successful in my new years resolutions! i have lost 10 pounds since the beginning of january!

also? i've remained faithful to consistently working out 3-4 times each week (sometimes even 5x!)

AND? i've taken up running (alright a pitiful jog.... BUT STILL). i have always said running is not for me. i have always hated it. i have never enjoyed even a second of it. but i'm enjoying it now. even though i miiight be the slowest runner ever. in the history of man. we're talking guinness world record here....

so while i am very tempted to see this is a failure because i haven't met all of my goals (giving up my stringent diet after a month) i am choosing to see this as SUCCESS. because if i hadn't set those goals, i would never have lost the little weight that i did and started working out as much as i am.
