okay. sitting in arkansas at trevor's house deciding we're skipping our weight watchers meeting to sit at home and watch tv. oh this is our life.
so to sum up the past month, we got married in the rain in jamaica, moved into our home ON CAMP, spent a lot of time doing dishes since we don't have a dishwasher, spent a lot of time watching GREEK on hulu because i didn't have a job and then finally.... drumroll .... I GOT A JOB. not only a job, but a fabulous one that fits me perfectly. i will be a Retreat Coordinator at Sky Ranch which means i get to work with tons of friends and trevor! our dream is to work in camp ministry together and God is so good to be so quickly faithful to us!
SOOOO now we're rockin it out in arkansas for the weekend. trevor's cousin is engaged and i am realizing how many people are getting married this semester/summer (which obviously equals wedding presents) and we know 8 COUPLES! golly. crazy town. but its awesome!!
anywhoo, trevor and i have a few goals for this first year of our married life.
-use my new camera. learn about it. get good at taking pictures. practice alot. here's a few from allison's practice shoot:
-trevor get more EMT experience-complete the caveman triathalon in dallas
-lose weight. 15 pounds for me and 40 for trevor. weight watchers...WORK IT OUT
-BAKE A LOT. i'm secretly hoping trevor will surprise me with decorating classes at michaels/hobby lobby
-read thru the bible.
-finish all seasons of 24
so that is all for now... a very boring meaningless update of our life. more substance later.
aaaaaaaaaaaaand my birthday is in 6 days! whoop.
